It's been a very busy few months for me over the last quarter. There's been Horsham Coworking. And a host of website projects including redevelopment of Classic Bags. So, I'm looking forward to a few days holiday over Xmas and New Year! After that, I have a busy 2017 ahead of me. There are a couple of site launches planned for January already.
I suppose this is the time when it's good to look back on the year. It's been a year of changes and a few ups and downs. Some quiet periods and recently very busy weeks.
The biggest personal change for me is that I'm working from an office in the centre of Horsham now. I've changed location after many years of working from a home office. Getting used to a cycle commute is one of the challenges (cars, weather, backpack organisation) but I'm enjoying it.
And, even though one of my new coworking colleagues says that I "know everyone" in Horsham, I really don't. So, working from a central location, getting more involved in town activities like networking groups, using an office adjacent to another company, has meant that I'm meeting lots of new people, which has been great!
In other news, I've started a side project called Perchology which is a newsletter about the content management system called Perch. It's my first personal project that uses a third party solution and that doesn't have a website I developed at its core. It's given me a few new opportunities and I hope these continue.
So, I wish you and your family a festive season. Here's looking forward to 2017!
Merry Christmas everyone!
